Prince
of Neufchatel: American Privateer
An interesting site from England which contains orginal documents following
the Prize case of the American privateer Prince of Neufchatel which
was capture by the British on 28th December 1814. The documents produced
in the case were typical of the War of 1812 period.

A fascinating site containing dozens of orginal American documents from
the war. They range from the American debates on neutrality, starting
in 1807, to The New York Evening Post report on the victory at New
Orleans on February 7, 1815.

Project - War of 1812 Documents
Another great American site containing a number of original documents
ranging from the act declaring war between the United Kingdom and the United
States of America to the entire Treaty of Ghent.

of America: University of Michigan
Though it may take a little bit of digging to find War of 1812 documents,
this site is very interesting because is contains actual scanned pages
of orginal manuscripts (most other primary source sites contain typed versions
of the documents).

A British site with the broad mandate of documenting maritime and naval
history in general. However, if you scroll half way down this page
there is a fair amount of information about naval activities during the
War of 1812, with numerous original documents.

Public Library: Special Collections (War of 1812)
This library in Hamilton, Ontario contains over 400 primary and other
sources on the War of 1812. Unfortunately you have to go there to access
them.
