| The Battle of the Thames, or the Battle of Moraviantown as it is known to Canadians, marked an end to thirteen month of British domination of the Northwest frontier. The British-First Nations alliance had been able to repel American advances at Detroit, Frenchtown and Fort Meigs before their defeat at Moraviantown. |
