FUNGUS THE BOGEYMAN

Fungus the Bogeyman, the loveably disgusting underground dweller created by renowned children's author Raymond Briggs (The Snowman, Father Christmas).

The series follows the daily life of Fungus the Bogeyman, a loveably disgusting underground dweller created by renowned children's author Raymond Briggs. Fungus, a green slime-covered creature lives with his wife Mildew, 14-year-old son Mould and 12-year-old daughter Mucus in the land of Bogeydom, a vast and secret underground dwelling, home to a complete world of Bogeymen. Mildew's sister Septic and her pushy husband Gunge live next door with their insufferable son Grot. Fungus' job is to go above ground every night and scare humans, or Dry Cleaners as they are referred to by Bogeymen.

Bogeydom is in many ways a reverse image of the human world, a place where the essentially indolent, peace loving Bogeys wallow in their love of everything humans might find repulsive: filth, dampness and slime.
